The CrewCommCenter system is linked up to the existing E-mail system onboard. Whenever the captain makes a connection to the Hub, the crew E-mail/SMS messages are exchanged as well. No separate connections are made.

The messages and news content are limited to text only and are limited in size, thus ensuring that the extra airtime spend for the crew communication is minimal.
